Meghan King's Ex Jim Edmonds Thought Wedding To Joe Biden's Nephew Cuffe Owens Was A 'Joke,' Quipped 'Is She Pregnant?'
Meghan King’s spontaneous wedding was an unexpected surprise — especially for her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum exchanged vows with Cuffe Owens a week ago, as the pair celebrated an intimate ceremony at his childhood home in Kennett Square, Pa., on Monday, October 11.
King and Edmonds tied the knot back in 2014 before calling things off five years later. Together the pair share three children: Aspen, 4, and 3-year-old twins Hayes and Hart.
The former professional baseball player told Daily Mail that he thought King was joking when she told him she was marrying Owens, who happens to be related to the current Commander-in-Chief, President Joe Biden.
“She called me to tell me she was getting married,” Edmonds told the outlet. “It was the first I heard anything about it. I thought it was a joke — they’d been dating for about four weeks.”
He continued, “Then I wondered, ‘Is she pregnant?’ But is it even possible to know that just four weeks after the first date?”

Just two months after the former pair’s divorce was made official, Edmonds popped the question to former Playboy Bunny Kortnie O’Connor, who also spoke to the outlet.
O’Connor claimed that she was more focused on planning her own wedding, and that she didn’t have many “nice” things to say about King.
King’s ex-hubby chimed back in, “I have no interest in getting dragged back into the negative narrative she’s pushed and all the false information she’s put out there. It’s why we’ve really kept our opinions to ourselves on this.”
“Really I have no emotion on her wedding one way or another,” he added. “It’s like a stranger getting married. I have no connection to her.”
Last week, King made things official after she changed her name on her socials to include her new man’s last name.
“We just knew,” she wrote alongside a sweet photo from the intimate ceremony. “Introducing Mr. and Mr. Owens.”
While the wedding was said to be a small gathering, President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were in attendance for the event.
