Jimmy Kimmel couldn’t be more mad after his late night talkshow was "indefinitely" pulled by ABC on Wednesday night, September 17.
The famed comedian’s beloved series Jimmy Kimmel Live! was cut by the television network and Nexstar after the host made comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination and poked fun at President Donald Trump during his opening monologue two days prior.
"Absolutely f------ livid," a producer for the late-night show told a news outlet in response to how Kimmel reacted to the news.

Jimmy Kimmel faced backlash after making comments about Charlie Kirk's assassination.
The staffer said Kimmel is "pissed" and meeting with ABC to discuss where to go from here.
"This is clearly the government overreaching. There’s no such thing as free speech in America, if the government can lean on companies to stop any content they don’t like," Kimmel's employee added after Trump — who despises the TV host — called the late-night show's suspension a "great day for America."
The situation is reportedly the "last straw" for Kimmel, who is now "actively looking" to break out of his contract and end his relationship with ABC for good.

Jimmy Kimmel is reportedly looking to cut ties with ABC for good.
“Jimmy is pissed over the decision to suspend him and the show and he isn’t going to take this lightly," the insider admitted, as another confidant confessed they’ve "never seen Kimmel this angry."
ABC’s stunning decision came on Wednesday evening, as a spokesperson for the network told Deadline "Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be preempted indefinitely.”
Minutes prior, Nexstar confirmed its "owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt Jimmy Kimmel Live! for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight’s show."
"Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets," the message continued.

Donald Trump celebrated Jimmy Kimmel getting kicked off air.
Trump celebrated the news with a message shared to Truth Social not too long after.
"Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED," the POTUS declared.
He continued: "Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy [Fallon] and Seth [Meyers], two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT."
Backlash erupted after Kimmel’s opening monologue earlier in the week included digs at Trump and MAGA fans in response to the assassination of Kirk.
"We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA [Make America Great Again] gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," he said on set of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

MAGA activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday, September 10.
Kimmel then mocked Trump after a video of the president responding to a question about how he was holding up amid Kirk's death went viral online.
"I think very good," Trump said to a reporter before changing the subject to discuss the White House's ballroom construction.
"He's at the fourth stage of grief, construction," Kimmel snubbed. "This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish."
