The world is still in the middle of a pandemic, but it looks like Joe Biden's youngest brother may not have gotten the message. Last week, on Thursday, Francis 'Frank' Biden joined a group of maskless partiers at fighter Floyd Mayweather's 44th birthday bash in Ft. Lauderdale's The Venue.
Biden, 66, ditched all efforts at social distancing when he stopped to pose for photos at the luxe event, buddying up to Mayweather, entrepreneur Jas 'Limitless' Mathur and former U.S. Ambassador to Singapore Kirk Wagar.
According to Page Six, Biden is fully vaccinated. He also reportedly wore a mask throughout the party, except for when it came time for photo opps.
Ironically, the party was co-hosted by longtime friends Mayweather and mind/body transformation guru Mathur (both of whom who were also spotted maskless). According to the report, the pair used the party as an opportunity to meet in preparation to partner in a business venture. The party reportedly cost them $700,000 and included aerial dancers, in addition to a performance by Jacquees, an Atlanta-based singer and songwriter.
Monroe, 29, and Mayweather seemed to be keeping their relationship under wraps, choosing not to walk the photo-laden carpet leading up to the party. However, Monroe, who is the head stripper at Mayweather's Las Vegas club Girl Collection, shared pictures of herself on Instagram from inside the venue.
Sources say that Mayweather's party followed strict guidelines for COVID-19 checks before guests entered. People who traveled to get there were advised to do so safely and to get tested. Guests were also provided masks featuring Mayweather's The Money Team logo, 'TMT.' The event was reportedly at 30 percent of the venue's capacity.
The snafu comes at an important time for President Joe Biden, as he has been vocal about all Americans following pandemic guidelines to stop the spread of COVID-19. In January he issued an executive order for mask-wearing.
Frank Biden is one of three of the President's younger siblings; Valerie Biden Owens and James Biden make up the foursome. As OK! has previously reported, Frank actually introduced the President to the first lady, Dr. Jill Biden, in 1975.
