The Argo alum, 74, was spotted in a new snapshot shared by Wizards of Waverly Place actor David DeLuise where he flaunted his 200-pound weight loss.

John Goodman was spotted in a new photo with actor David DeLuise.
"He was my childhood !! ❤️ Legend ! I love that I get to say that to someone ;) if you know you know," DeLuise, 54, captioned an Instagram selfie of the two men hanging out in a grocery store on Thursday, August 6.
Goodman sported a light blue button-down and brown glasses as he smiled widely in the snapshot, while the Disney Channel alum donned a tan T-shirt.
John Goodman Began His Weight-Loss Journey in 2007

John Goodman previously suffered with food and alcohol addictions.
The Big Lebowski star began his health journey back in 2007 when he decided to get sober from alcohol and get his food addiction under control.
In 2023, he revealed he lost a whopping total of 200 pounds and shared with Rolling Stone how he maintains his new body, saying: "I just stopped eating all the time."
"I’d have a handful of food, and it’d go to my mouth. I was just eating alcoholically. In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a six-pack of Bud or whatever and just go back to my old habits," he recalled of his old eating patterns.

John Goodman Also Suffered With Alcohol Issues

John Goodman checked himself into a rehab center in the 2000s.
"I’m getting to the age where I can’t afford to sit still anymore,” the Roseanne star added. “I just got tired, sick and tired of looking at myself. You’re shaving in the mirror and you don’t want to look at yourself. It gets dangerous.”
Goodman also once divulged he checked himself into a rehab center for his alcoholism after he woke up one day shaking following a heavy night of drinking with pals.
“I just got tired, sick and tired of looking at myself. You’re shaving in the mirror, and you don’t want to look at yourself. It gets dangerous … I wanted to live life better," he said, according to news.com.au.
John Goodman Weighed Almost 400 Pounds at the Height of His Fame

John Goodman previously said he gained and lost weight during his time on 'Roseanne.'
Goodman confessed during a 2010 appearance on Late Night with David Letterman he weighed almost 400 pounds at his absolute heaviest.
“I’d get off of Roseanne — every spring. I’d lose 60 pounds every spring,” he said. “And then I got too fond of the barley corn. I'd gain it back and then some, every year. It's going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life."
Goodman famously portrayed Dan Conner on the hit '90s sitcom for nine seasons and in its 2018 revival series.
