It’s getting hot in here! The chemistry between John Mulaney and Olivia Munn is sizzling, as the buzzy new duo have been spotted getting cozy around L.A. — from sharing laughs over lunch to enjoying some alone time. (Munn was photographed leaving the comedian’s pad the morning of June 30.)
“Things have progressed very quickly,” says an OK! source. “They are head over heels."
The Predator star, 40, had her sights on the Emmy winner, 38, for years, revealing that she met him at a 2015 wedding and was “so obsessed with hanging out with and talking to him.”
In December, she expressed “so much love and support” to Mulaney via Twitter when he entered rehab for substance abuse and reportedly exchanged texts with the Big Mouth star during his 60-day stay. After Mulaney completed treatment and subsequently ended his six-year marriage to Anna Marie Tendler in May, Munn seemingly took her shot — and scored.

The source says that although the stars’ friends were “a little concerned” they were rushing things, they’ve come to realize they’re a good fit.
“The reality of the situation must have been hard for John, but Olivia has been a welcome diversion,” dishes the source. “He’s in awe of her confidence, and she thinks he’s so talented.”
Mulaney, a former SNL writer, has been primarily based in New York, while Munn's Hollywood career has kept her in L.A. But the enamored couple have been making the most of their time together while Mulaney performs a string of West Coast shows, which Munn's been sneaking in to see.
“Nobody would be surprised if John pulled up roots to be with Olivia. He’s that serious about her,” says the source, adding that the feeling is mutual.
“Olivia’s had a crush on him for years. Now that she’s got him, she doesn’t want to let him go.”
