'Full House' Star John Stamos Shares Last Text Message He Received From Taylor Hawkins As Late Foo Fighters Drummer’s Casket Arrives In Los Angeles
Only three months after John Stamos mourned the tragic death of Bob Saget, the Full House alum is grieving the loss of another dear friend.
Stamos took to Twitter to share the painful last text message he received from Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins before the rocker was found dead in his Bogota hotel.
"Ya We’ve yet to fully have a hang -Got a put that s–t together before we die," the sitcom actor tweeted of Hawkins' last words to him.
"Wise words from my friend- put that s–t together! I’m so f–king sad," Stamos added. "Another one gone too soon."
The Grandfathered star also shared a clip of the late musician teasing him about how Stamos allegedly stole his gig as Geico spokesperson because he's "better looking."

"Stamos is a good buddy of mine — he’s a good guy," Hawkins joked in the video. "I like him a lot. He’s a great drummer. He’s a great dude — all that stuff."
"But I’m a little upset with him, actually," he continued. "I’ve got to be honest with you because I was supposed to do that Geico commercial … where he flips the stick. That was mine. Originally that was mine ... But I’m the best stick flipper around. Sorry, Stamos. I got this."
This comes as reports surface that the famed drummer's casket has arrived home to his family in Los Angeles as his band continues to mourn the unexpected loss. On Tuesday, March 29, a black casket was seen being loaded onto the Foo Fighter's tour plane, according to photos from DailyMail.
As OK! previously reported, Hawkins was found dead in his hotel room in Colombia, shortly after telling hotel staff he had been suffering from chest pains.
Medical examiners later confirmed they found traces of ten different drugs in the rocker's system, including "marijuana, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids."
The autopsy also revealed that his heart was nearly double the average size for a man his age at the time of his death, likely resulting in "cardiovascular collapse."
"The National Institute of Forensic Medicine is continuing its medical studies to be able to completely clarify the facts that led to Taylor Hawkins death," Colombia's Attorney General's office explained in a statement. "Colombia’s National State Prosecution Service will continue with its investigation and reveal the results obtained as part of this investigation as appropriate."
