The ten bedroom, ten bathroom riverfront property, known as Diamond Head, was also the residence where the former couple illegally smuggled Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo during their infamous visit to Australia back in March 2015.
The home has made headlines as of late as Depp and Heard have been facing off in court. As OK! reported, the Pirates of the Caribbean star sued his ex-wife for $50 million, insisting she defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post opinion piece in which she claimed she was a domestic and sexual violence survivor. She did not name Depp in the article.
On Tuesday, April 26, the Dark Shadows star's house manager Ben King testified about finding part of Depp's severed finger in the home after Heard allegedly threw the bottle of booze at the actor in a fit of rage. However, the Aquaman actress’ lawyers suggested Depp cut his finger with a knife in the kitchen.
King revealed on the stand that he was called to the residence after the incident, and when he arrived to the property, the home was in disarray with blood on the carpet and walls. King testified that he found the severed fingertip in a tissue on the floor of the bar along with a broken bottle of Stolichnaya vodka. He said a “big chunk” of the marble bar top had been broken off.
The house manager also pointed out that he witnessed multiple arguments between the couple during their stay in Australia, and another in London, but he did not report that there was any physical altercations while working for Depp in the U.K.
