Off the market?
An insider tells OK! Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott and New Girl alum Zooey Deschanel are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
“The word is that Jonathan has already popped the question,” dishes the insider of the duo, who looked more loved-up than ever at an Oscars party on March 27. “They’re just waiting to announce it until they feel the time is right.”
Deschanel, 42, and Scott, 43, who hooked up three years ago after meeting on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, bought a $9.5 million abode together in July 2020 and have been fixing it up since then.

“They are saying they want this to be their forever home,” shares the insider, noting that the Property Brother is making sure it’s perfect for the actress’ kids, Elsie, 6, and Charlie, 4 (with ex-hubby Jacob Pechenik).
“Jonathan has swept Zooey off her feet, she’s so in love, and he feels the same way,” continues the insider. “They both see themselves raising a big family in their dream home. It’s a fairy tale come true!”
As OK! previously reported, the doting duo's brand new Los Angeles dream home is the "largest residential renovation I have ever done in my career," according to Scott, but they couldn't be happier.
"We have each other, and we have time — the rest of our lives together in this house. Our house. Our dream home, where we'll see the kids grow up laughing and adventuring in the yard, where we'll play host to friends and family," he gushed of the exciting purchase.
Although the native Canadian wasn't immediately sold on permanently putting down roots in L.A., Deschanel eagerly showed him the beauties of the sunny California city.
"She's a native Angeleno, her parents still live in her childhood home, the whole deal," Scott explained at the time. "I recall thinking, 'Okay, okay, give me the sales pitch,' skeptically, not thinking of myself as an L.A. guy. But the more she showed me her Los Angeles — the parks she went to growing up, the neighborhoods where she made memories with her closest friends — the more I found myself in love with an Angeleno, and with L.A., too."
