No Date, No Problem! A Newly Single Kaley Cuoco Has A Blast At 2021 Emmy Awards After Filing For Divorce From Karl Cook
Kaley Cuoco seemed to be in good spirits at the 2021 Emmy Awards — more than two weeks after filing for divorce from Karl Cook.
The Big Bang Theory alum rolled up to the event on Sunday, September 19, where she glowed in a bright neon yellow dress on the red carpet.
While the Flight Attendant actress was flying solo for the night, it didn’t appear to be getting her down, as she flashed a big smile for the cameras.
Cuoco was seen blowing off steam while she danced during the show’s introduction, and she also looked cheerful as she presented an award to John Oliver for his show Last Week Tonight.
Cuoco recently announced that she and Cook would be going their separate ways after three years of marriage. The estranged pair shared a joint statement on Friday, September 3, to let the world know that they had officially filed divorce papers.
“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” the former flames said. “We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.”
“We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further,” the statement continued.

As OK! previously reported, the former couple seemed to have made an agreement about their split, as Cook filed his response papers on the same day that Cuoco filed, a notion that is not particularly common in typical divorce proceedings.
Since announcing that she filed for divorce, the 35-year-old actress has been rumored to be getting close to her Meet Cute costar Pete Davidson.
Cuoco and Davidson — who recently split from Bridgerton star Pheobe Dynevor — also enjoyed a fun day off at Six Flags in New Jersey.
“Pete and Kaley haven’t been shy about dropping hints they find each other attractive and have fun together,” a source previously dished of the couple.
“Plus, a lot of people think he and Kaley are way more compatible than he ever was with Phoebe, Ariana [Grande], Kate [Beckinsale] or most of his exes," the source added. "He matches Kaley’s high energy levels — they’re having a blast.”
However, the source also claims the pair aren’t “a full-blown couple” just yet, as Cuoco is still in the midst of an ongoing divorce.
“But Pete’s an all-or-nothing guy, and he wants to lock this in,” the source concluded.
