Kaley Cuoco & Karl Cook Call It Quits After Three Years Of Marriage: 'Our Current Paths Have Taken Us In Opposite Directions'
Kaley Cuoco and her hunky hubby Karl Cook have called it quits.
The 35-year-old actress and Cook announced the heartbreaking news in a joint statement on Friday, September 3.
“Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions,” the former flames told PEOPLE. “We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.”
Their statement continued: “We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.”
The Flight Attendant star and the 30-year-old were first linked in 2016. He popped the question on the blonde beauty’s birthday in November 2017 and the two wed in 2018 in a stunning ceremony near San Diego, California.
The former flames — who are both avid equestrians — held the ceremony in a horse ceremony surrounded by close family and friends.

The Big Bang Theory alum has kept herself busy as of late working overtime to complete her upcoming film alongside comedian Pete Davidson, Meet Cute.
The rom-com reportedly revolves around deconstructing the relationship norm by asking the question: “What would you do if you could travel to your loved ones' past, heal their traumas, fix their problems, and change them into the perfect partner?”
OK! reported the costars were getting chummy on set, with Cuoco sharing pics of herself pestering the Saturday Night Live alum as he was trying to learn his lines.
“Annoying Peter while he's studying has become my favorite pastime," the 8 Simple Rules alum said, revealing she calls Davidson by his full first name.
In the clip, shared to Cuoco's Instagram Story on Thursday, August 5, the 27-year-old sported a striped shirt as he held up his script to the camera. “I’m trying to learn my lines,” he expressed, seemingly unamused by her antics to the camera.
