'RHOA' Star Kandi Burruss Does Not Agree With Former Costar NeNe Leakes' Allegations That Bravo & Andy Cohen Are 'Racist'
Kandi Burruss is backing Bravo.
During a recent appearance on SiriusXM Urban View’s "The Clay Cane Show," The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 45, was asked whether she agreed with former costar NeNe Leakes' allegations of racism against Bravo and Andy Cohen.
“Realistically, I don't agree… Everybody can have their own opinion. I did not agree,” Burruss noted, as she went on to say the actress, 54, “would tell everybody she was the highest paid on our show,” before declaring: “You can't brag about being paid the most out of anybody and then say that they're not treating you right.”

“I know, a lot of the women, especially at that time – now we got a lot of new people, it's not as many of us left on the show – but at that time, we still had like, four or five of us, who had been there for a while, making some real good money," the Kandi and the Gang star — who joined the cast in Season 2 — stated.
"It's not like one person is doing well on the show, multiple women on this show are doing really well… It’s certain things that you may not like, certain things that you may want to try to do better, but, overall, to say that they were racist – I didn't agree with that at all," she lamented.

As OK! previously reported, Leakes went off on the Watch What Happens Live star, 53, and the reality show in a series of tweets in September 2020. At the time, Leakes alleged the show manipulated black women to say negative things about each other, "while they sit and enjoy us tearing each other down."
She added: "They using me for ratings like they have always done."
During an additional appearance this week on TMZ’s "It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper" podcast, Burruss revealed she and the former Glee star do not keep in contact, alleging Leakes once called her a racial slur.
“I don’t know what her problem is with me. I’ve seen her say all kinds of stuff,” the singer told the podcast host of her apparent frenemy.
