Kanye West Admits New Haphazard Buzzcut Inspired By Britney Spears' Famous Breakdown: 'I Called It The Britney'
Ye has a new 'do!
Kanye West has debuted a strange new buzzcut that the billionaire rapper claims was inspired by "the phobia of mental health" and a certain Princess of Pop.
The 44-year-old was recently spotted out on the town in Miami, Flor. with a choppy, haphazard haircut that had fans more than a little puzzled.
The "Gold Digger" artist opened up about the reason he's rocking his new hairstyle on the Revolt TV podcast “Drink Champs.”
"The phobia of mental health, that’s why I did this haircut," West said on the popular podcast. "The declaration of insanity is a form of control… At first, I called it the Britney. Now they can call it the Ye."

Clearly inspired by the "Baby, One More Time" singer's famed 2007 breakdown, there are rumors that the Crossroads actress did it to avoid alleged drug use being traced, but the bombshell documentary Framing Britney Spears implied she did it because she was "sick of people touching" her blonde locks.
Cosmopolitan reported tattoo artist Emily Wynne-Hughes claimed the pop star explained her surprising hairdo saying, "It was, you know, 'I just don't want anybody, anybody touching my head. I don't want anyone touching my hair. I'm sick of people touching my hair.'"
Now, it seems Ye has turned his own hair into a piece of performance art to remind the world to ponder the strain and stress that struggles with mental health and public perception puts on so many people everyday.
"The fact that my haircut and my [new] name came at the same time was something," the "Flashing Lights" rap star admitted. "This was harder than wearing the Trump hat because my image [is important]. I’m fly and you know as a black man, your haircut means so much."
"I’m a process artist so when you see the hair it’s a representation of my thoughts developing," he explained.
