Kanye West's Wife Bianca Censori Reveals Why She's Only 'Done 1 Interview,' Says It Feels Like 'Sealing the Lid on a Coffin'

Kanye West's wife, Bianca Censori, revealed why she's largely stayed silent since stepping into the spotlight, explaining why she's only done one interview.

"I read it back and couldn’t fully recognize the person they interviewed," Censori, 31, wrote in a essay published in POSTPOSTPOST. "But it was nice to be asked. I enjoyed the invitation to self-absorption. For a moment, you’re allowed to speak entirely about yourself."

The Australian architect, who married the Chicago rapper, 49, in December 2022, claimed she's been asked to do "many major covers," a documentary with a major network and on-camera couple's therapy, but declined.

"When I think about interviews nailing down their subjects, I can hear the hammer on the nails. I can see them forming this irregular hexagon, sealing the lid on a coffin. My coffin," she wrote. "So, no. I won’t give you an interview."

Censori sat down for her first major in-depth interview with Vanity Fair in February, where she opened up about her husband, her skin-baring outfits and other burning questions fans had been asking for years, including whether West was the mastermind behind her revealing looks.

"I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do," Censori told the news outlet on February 6. "Me and my husband would work on my outfits together."

She emphasized that the outfits were her choice, adding, "It was a collaboration, it was never 'I was being told to do something.'"

"If you were married to Gianni Versace, wouldn’t he give you a dress or something?" she continued. "I didn’t marry my husband because I wanted some sort of platform. I married him because I love him. Is that like the corniest thing ever?"

Censori also notably mentioned that she was the "most googled person" on Earth.

Censori's interview came just weeks after the "Heartless" rapper apologized for antisemitic comments, which he attributed to an undiagnosed brain injury.

“In early 2025, I fell into a four-month long manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behavior that destroyed my life,” West wrote in an open letter titled "Those I've Hurt" on January 26. “As the situation became increasingly unsustainable, there were times I didn’t want to be here anymore.”

The Yeezy founder credited his wife for convincing him to "finally get help" after hitting "rock bottom" in recent months.
