Is Kanye West Hoping To Reconcile With Kim Kardashian? Rapper Caught Wearing Wedding Band Two Months After Split
Leave it to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to constantly keep you guessing. While Kim may have been quick to close the chapter on her seven-year marriage, Kanye seems to be holding onto the past after he was spotted wearing his wedding band only a few weeks since his wife filed for divorce.
The revelation that West is still wearing his ring — two months after his estranged wife made the split official — came from DJ Khaled posting a picture of West to his Instagram on Wednesday, April 27. In the black-and-white snap, West had his hands up, visibly displaying his symbol of their union.

Khaled explained the rapper paid him a surprise visit to listen to tracks from his upcoming album. “TRUE STORY: KANYE STOPPED BY MY HOUSE AT 8 AM THE OTHER DAY!” the producer captioned the photo. “I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS COMING! HE HAD @chefmelissazuniga make him SOME EGGS WITH KETCHUP AND VEGAN BACON.
"You know when you get this expression that it’s sounding AMAZING! this album GODS HANDS IS ALL OVER IT 🤲🏽," he added of West's pose in the pic.
Khaled also shared a video of the two listening to each other's latest music while sharing the exact same story via his caption.
And while Khaled's story of West's surprise visit was fascinating, it was hard to focus on anything other than the fact that West is still wearing his ring despite the couple's separation. West was previously seen wearing his ring in February while out in Los Angeles.
As OK! reported, the KUWTK star, 40, filed for divorce from the "Stronger" crooner, 43, in February after six years of marriage.
Their separation certainty didn't come as a shock, since the pair had been "living separate lives" for months following West's failed 2020 presidential campaign, which was reportedly "the final straw" for Kardashian.
Meanwhile, sources have said that the co-parents are both ready to move on, with the KKW beauty founder getting romantic offers from billionaires, royals and all kinds of A-list stars.
As for West, he is apparently looking to date an "artist and a creative person," so they "can speak the same language to each other." (He should probably take off his wedding band for his first date though.)
