Kate Middleton 'Rises Above' Meghan Markle's Bridesmaid Crying Claim As She Tries To Play Peacemaker Between Prince William, Prince Harry
Kate Middleton has "risen above" the drama over the claim Meghan Markle made in her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March over bridesmaid dresses a British journalist claimed.
Camilla Tominey wrote in Stella Magazine via The Daily Mail, "Despite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Oprah Winfrey interview, when Kate was accused of making Meghan cry during a bridesmaid’s dress fitting and failing to support her, Kate rose decidedly above it all."
Tominey stated that Middleton has been a peacemaker between the two brothers who haven’t seen one another in over a year before attending Prince Phillip’s funeral on April 17.
"Setting aside any personal resentment she may still feel about Harry and Meghan's televised two-hour tell-all, Kate put her best foot forward in trying to carve a path to reconciliation between the brothers," Tominey wrote.
"Few would have blamed her for giving Harry the cold shoulder, yet she clearly resolved that the situation needed to be appeased rather than aggravated," the royal expert explained.
Royal biographer, Christopher Wilson, told the publication that Middleton’s involvement in the brothers speaking again was not a planned incident.
"I didn’t see that as being a staged thing. I thought it was entirely spontaneous and clever in making the two brothers talk to each other," he told the publication.

OK! previously reported, expert lip readers were able to unmask the banter between the brother’s at the funeral.
"It was as he wanted it,” the Duke of Sussex replied, according to lip readers who spoke with the Daily Express.
William later told Harry: "Absolutely beautiful service, ah, the music," the lip readers claimed.
Author Eve Pollard commented on the brothers speaking once again,"Let’s hope that they sort their recent troubles out because the Queen needs them both."
In March, Markle, 39, spoke to Winfrey in an explosive chat detailing the inner workings of the royal family. In question came the 2018 bridesmaid incident where reports claimed Markle made Middleton cry in which Markle cleared up to Winfrey, "the reverse happened" before her wedding to Prince Harry. Markle at the time added, "it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings."
Markle didn’t press the matter and preemptively said to Winfrey about Middleton, "[She] apologized, and I have forgiven her."
