While Katie Holmes likely spent some time with her and ex Tom Cruise's daughter Suri, 16, on Mother's Day, the actress was also spotted on a loved up outing with her new man, Bobby Wooten III.
In photos published by the Daily Mail, the couple was seen out on Sunday, May, 8, in New York City, where they went for a stroll, rode bikes and grabbed a bite to eat.
The actress, 43, wore sunglasses and was dressed down in a dark green coat, black and white striped top and bright blue pants, while the musician, 33, was clad in a navy jacket, turquoise tee and tan slacks.
As the duo were walking, Wooten had his arm around the Dawson's Creek alum, and she reached over to hold his hand when they sat down for a coffee. They were both all smiles throughout the date, and during one of their passionate kisses, Holmes wrapped her arms around his neck.
"They know some of the same people who connected them and so far, it's working well," a source dished to E! News of the budding romance. "Katie is excited about seeing someone and is very happy. It's new, but it's going well. She enjoys having someone in her life and he is very kind and good to her."
The Ray Donovan star hasn't commented on the relationship just yet, but it's the first man she's been seen smooching since she and chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. split about a year ago. At the time, an insider claimed Holmes "dumped him" after she started suspecting that he was using her for her Hollywood connections.

After the split, a source insisted that the brunette beauty was disinterested in meeting anyone new. "She has never looked better and could have her pick of any guy she wants," the source noted, "but she’s sworn off men because she wants to concentrate on her career."
"She is really excited about doing more directing," added the source. "But she is a romantic at heart, so it’s not like she’s going to stay single forever!"
