Katie Holmes took a major step in her new relationship!
On Tuesday, September 1, the actress shared her affection for her boyfriend, Jason Bard Yarmosky, via her Instagram to celebrate his 40th birthday.
'The Best of the Best'
Katie Holmes posted the photo to celebrate Jason Bard Yarmosky's birthday.
"Happy Birthday to the best of the best…❤️ @jasonbardyarmosky," Holmes, 47, wrote in the caption of the post.
Her loving sentiment was accompanied by a pair of images that captured the couple holding two microphones in what appeared to be a karaoke session. Another showed a dim room lit up by candles on a birthday cake.

A few hours later, the Dawson's Creek alum shared another PDA packed video to her Instagram Story of Yarmosky's birthday celebration.
In the sweet clip, Holmes and her beau were seated at a table together before he blew out the candles on his cake. As their friends cheered in the background, Yarmosky looked over at Holmes, who was grinning ear-to-ear before they embraced each other, as he planted a kiss on her forehead.
The social media shoutout came shortly after the pair soft-launched their romance, in a snap shared to Yarmosky's Story. For the photo, which Holmes reposted to her own social media profile, she stood alone in a stunning off-white two-piece set.

'They Seemed Very Easy Together'
The pair first sparked romance rumors in July.
More than a decade after her divorce from Tom Cruise, Holmes was spotted getting cozy with the New York City-based artist.
Rumors began swirling that the pair were dating in July when they were spotted holding hands while at a screening of The Invite hosted by The Cinema Society at New York City’s East Hampton Regal UA.
"He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing; they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night," a source told People at the time. "They sat together during the movie; she had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute."
'They’re Intentionally Taking It Slow'
Back in July, an insider claimed that 'they’re just enjoying spending time together.'
That same month, an insider told Page Six that despite the pair being happy together, Holmes was not ready to introduce him to her daughter, Suri, whom she shares with Tom.
"Things are still pretty new between Katie and Jason, and they’re intentionally taking it slow. They haven’t been introduced to others’ families or done any of that yet," the source said. "Right now, they’re just enjoying spending time together."
The insider continued, "There haven’t been any major steps in the relationship yet, they’re still in the dating phase for now. They’re happy taking things as they come and seeing where it goes."
