Katie Holmes' Ex Emilio Vitolo Jr. Cozies Up To Mystery Woman Two Months After Split
Only two months after Katie Holmes and Emilio Vitolo Jr. called it quits, it looks like the NYC-based chef is already ready to move on, as he was spotted out and about with a mystery woman over the weekend.
On Sunday, June 13, the handsome hunk was seen walking the city streets with a red-headed beauty by his side. Vitolo Jr. donned a black t-shirt and black shorts while his alleged new flame opted for a stylish denim dress.
It is unclear how long the duo has been seeing each other or the nature of their relationship; however, the 33-year-old and unknown woman appeared to be very comfortable with each other, with them walking very close together and both smiling from ear to ear.
News of their possible new relationship comes after Holmes and Vitolo Jr. called off their nine- month romance in April. At the time, an insider noted that their relationship just "fizzled" out, adding that they are "better off as friends. There’s no drama that went down with the breakup and in fact, they’re still friends," a source told UsWeekly.
“Katie and Emilio really enjoyed their time together — it just simply didn’t work out," a spokesperson for the mother-of-one said of their split last month.
And while they may still be friends, it's hard to imagine the Batman actress, 42, was thrilled to hear that her ex was on the prowl so quickly after they parted ways.
A source previously dished that Vitolo Jr. was "in a bad mood" at work right after the former flames broke up. However, he was spotted "smiling and having a good time" after hours of cozying up to a female friend and other pals, said a source.
"He’s not wasting any time looking for someone new to date," they added, with another insider spilling that Vitolo Jr. already rejoined Raya — the exclusive dating app for the rich and fabulous.
As for Holmes, she's "focusing on being a mom" to 15-year-old daughter Suri — whom she shares with Hollywood icon Tom Cruise — as well as devoting her time to her upcoming projects.
And while she may not be putting her energy into finding a new beau, rumors recently surfaced of a possible romance between the actress and Jennifer Lopez's ex Alex Rodriguez. Over the weekend, A.Rod — who also broke up with his significant other in April — was seen leaving the Dawson's Creek alum's NYC apartment building.
Despite the public's excitement over a possible new Hollywood power couple, an insider recently shot down the romance rumors. They insisted that the MLB icon was simply looking for a new bachelor pad, and the two A-listers never actually met.
"Alex is looking at lots of different apartments, he didn't even realize it was Katie's building — he's never met her," an insider close to the newly single athlete told Page Six, with a rep for Holmes also confirming: “They have never even met."
