Keith Urban Recalls 'Panicked Call' He Received To Fill In At Ceasars Palace After Adele Abruptly Postponed Her Residency

Keith Urban was there to save the day after Adele postponed her Ceasars Palace residency.

"We got a very panicked call one night, asking if we could fill in a bunch of shows and it worked out perfect," Urban told the outlet about the special offer. "We were able to do it."
"I love that room," the "Blue Ain’t Your Color" singer gushed about the venue he will now be playing at on March 25, 26 and 30, as well as April 1 and 2, 2022. "The stage is literally an arena, it's insane."

On January 25, Urban made the exciting announcement to his fans via Twitter that he was adding more dates to his stint in Las Vegas. "Hey everyone! It's Keith here. Me and Louis want to let you know that we've got five brand-new shows being added to our Las Vegas residency," the father-of-two — who shares daughters Sunday Rose, 13, and Faith Margaret, 10, with wife Nicole Kidman — said.

"Those tickets go on sale Monday morning at 10 p.m. PT. I'll see you guys in Vegas! Bye!" he continued only days after Adele announced the postponement of her residency via a tearful Instagram video.
As OK! exclusively reported, prior to the British songstress pulling out at the last minute on January 20, she was heard in a heated exchange over the phone with boyfriend-of-six-months Rich Paul.
The insider revealed the superstar “got extremely needy and kept begging Rich to come to Vegas, and when he couldn’t, things got loud and confrontational," adding that “she’d be saying things like, ‘I need you here, why aren’t you here?’ and would go from fiery to teary in a heartbeat.”

The source also noted that following the Sin City debacle, “there’s growing concern she will not return to the stage." The insider explained, “People around her believe the end is nigh, and when it’s over, she’ll board the first plane to England and not look back.”
