Kelly Osbourne Celebrates Five Months Of Sobriety On 37th Birthday Following Relapse
Kelly Osbourne had many things to be grateful for on Wednesday, October 27 — not only did she celebrate her 37th trip around the sun, but she also commemorated another important milestone.
The Fashion Police alum returned to Instagram after taking a social media break for several months to share a selfie with a cake topped off with strawberries and candles. She also shared a screenshot from a Twelve Steps app showing she was 154 days sober.
"Today marks my 37th birthday and I'm 5 months sober!!!" the Osbournes alum captioned the post. "I am filled with so much gratitude it's almost overwhelming!💜."
Osbourne also shared sweet tributes on her Instagram Story from loved ones sending her well wishes on her big day.
As OK! reported, the former TV personality checked into rehab in Austin, Texas, earlier this month after breaking her four-year sobriety streak.
In April, Osbourne admitted via Instagram Story that she had relapsed, telling her 2.4 million followers: “I am back on track. I just want to let you know that I am sober today and I will be sober tomorrow."

"I've learned it truly is one day at a time, and I just wanted to tell you guys the truth because I never, ever want to lie to you,” she added.
During an appearance on Red Table Talk, Osbourne admitted she had "made it all the way through the pandemic," but stumbled after she saw a couple drinking a glass of champagne poolside one day.
"It looked really nice and I was like, ‘I can do that, too,'" the Fierce author told the show's hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris in June. "And then the next day, I had two glasses, and then the day after that it was bottles."
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant explained she believed she could drink "like a normal person," noting: "My drug of choice is alcohol. I love it. And I don't love it because I like the way it makes me feel — I like that it makes me not feel."
Osbourne later confessed it was her significant other who inspired her to get back on track. "I was at my boyfriend's house, and I was s**t faced on his couch eating pizza, and he looked over at me and I felt the way he looked at me," she admitted. "And I was like, 'Oh no, I never want him to look at me like that again. Ever.'" (Though she didn't mention him by name, Osbourne was linked to Erik Bragg at the time.)
"I only want to be the best version of myself, for my family and my boyfriend and my friends and I was not," the former reality star declared. "I was the furthest thing away from that."
