Kelly Osbourne spoke out about her new chapter in the U.K. following her split from Sid Wilson.

Kelly Osbourne's is putting her 4-year-old son, Sidney, first as she starts a new chapter back in the U.K. following her split from Sid Wilson.

"I have so many reasons to keep going," Osbourne, 41, said in an interview with Hello! Magazine on Monday, August 31. "I've got my baby boy, and he makes me the happiest person in the world. Being home in the U.K. has changed a lot for me."

The mom-of-one, who gave birth to her son in November 2022, admitted that she's "never been a California girl," adding, "It's been great to be home, and making a life for me and my son where I can see he's truly happy."

Though Osbourne declined to comment on her split from the former Slipknot DJ, 49, she explained that gun violence in U.S. schools also played a factor in her motivations to leave the state.

"I don't ever want to have to explain to my son what to do during a gun raid," she explained. "That's the realistic thing that you have to do in schools in America, and to me, that's insanity."

The Talk alum explained that her son now attends the same preschool in Buckinghamshire that she once attended.

"I met my best friend on my first day at school and she’s still my best friend. Her child goes there too; she’s a bit older than my son but they’re best friends too," the reality TV personality told the outlet. "They love each other."

The Osbournes star, who was also living with her ex in Iowa, moved back to her home country in mid-2026.

As OK! previously reported, the pair called in quits in March, eight months after getting engaged backstage at Ozzy Osbourne's Black Sabbath farewell concert.

"Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement," sources told the Daily Mail at the time. "Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she's been doing everything she can to cope."

The source added, "In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared."

Elsewhere in the recent interview, Kelly opened up on how she has been navigating the loss of her father, who died in July 2025.

"We didn’t put my dad in any sort of morgue," she said. "He came straight home and we got to spend a few days with him and mourn with him, and make sure that everything was the way we wanted it to be."
