Speaking in code: When Kelsea Ballerini took to Instagram on January 6 to declare that being "healthy" and "focused" was her goal for the new year, it wasn't hard for friends to read between the lines.
"That's her way of saying it's baby time," dishes a confidant, who says Ballerini, 27, is telling her inner circle that she "can't wait" to start a family with her husband, fellow country singer Morgan Evans.

"Kelsea's taking a step back, shifting her schedule and making getting pregnant a top priority," continues the pal, adding that Morgan, 35, is totally on board. "They both want three or four kids at least — especially Evans, who's an only child and always dreamed of having a big family. They're hoping to make a happy announcement by summer at the latest."
"They'll still be making music, but they're prioritizing plenty of couple time so things can happen naturally," the source added.
The blonde beauty — who got married to the country star Evans — has revealed that she has been quite reluctant to write music with her husband, however, they took their chances amid the lockdown and ended up releasing the experience.

"During this whole process, Morgan and I always kind of said we're never gonna write together because, I don't know, we just respect each other so much as songwriters," she told Us Weekly. "I was worried that I'd get in the room and be like, 'Oh, it's weird that I'm writing a love song about you, with you.' Like I just thought I'd be so in my head about it."
However, as their collaboration progressed, Ballerini realized that it was a "silver lining" of the lockdown.
"We ended up starting to write together the last few months and it's been so much fun when we're just itching to play music, we'll both just pick up a guitar and start writing, so that's definitely been a good silver lining," she revealed.
