Khloe Kardashian went all out for her daughter True's 4th birthday celebrations with a truly adorable theme — kittens!
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum took to Instagram to showcase dozens of sweet snaps and videos that featured friends, cousins, and cats — but if dad Tristan Thompson was at the party, the Kourtney and Khloé star didn't make it obvious.
One of True's first birthday surprises was a jar of custom blue, pink and purple M&M's with her face on them. Kardashian shared a clip of the reveal, but the soon-to-be 4-year-old — her actual birthday is on Tuesday, April 12 — was more excited about eating the chocolate than the fancy new design.
In another tender moment, she filmed the birthday girl striking a pose next to a massive balloon arch. "Yes, keep it going. That's right!" She praised her daughter's cute model poses. "Oh my gosh, a real star!"

It's clear from other photos and clips that the backyard get-together was possibly the cutest birthday party of the year. The yard was decorated with pastel colored balloons, cardboard cutout cartoon cats and a kitten ear archway entrance.
The b-day bash also featured a giant pink inflatable slide and little play areas with live kittens! Several pics show True crouched down and playing with the tiny cats in a heart shaped pen as one made attempts at a quick escape.
It was a bustling family affair with appearances by cousins Dream, Chicago, Psalm, and Stormi, but one notably missing family member was her NBA pro dad.
Kardashian and Thompson have had a strained coparenting relationship since news broke that the basketball player had fathered a child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols while he was allegedly still trying to make things work with the reality star.
The mom-of-one recently opened up about their past romance in an interview with ABC's Robin Roberts promoting their new Hulu show: The Kardashians. "I still think he's a great guy and he's a great dad," she noted. "He's just not the guy for me."
