Lady Kim? Kim Kardashian was just as surprised as everyone else when it emerged that she's part of the Bridgerton world.
"As the world’s number one @bridgerton Stan does @KimKardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings? Because I feel like she should know this," actress Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington, AKA Lady Whistledown, tweeted.
"WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!!" Kardashian responded.
"Omg yesss of course we would love to have you!" the 34-year-old responded. "Also did you know that Mr Pearl made your corset for the Met Gala and the very next one he made was mine for Bridgerton? You’ve been part of the Bridgerton world for longer than you know!"
"OMG I’m gonna faint!!!!!! Does this make me an honorary Duchess in Bridgerton ?!?!?!? I am the corset Queen!!!" Kardashian gushed.
"Why of course, Duchess Kardashian of Calabasas! Lady Whistledown is happy to declare you the season’s true incomparable 💎," Coughlan crowned the Keeping up with the Kardashian's star.
The love goes both ways between Coughlan and Kardashian. "You know I’ve loved Kim for like over a decade, I can’t even deal," the Derry Girls star gushed later.

It's not just Kim who inspired the Bridgerton world. "I think Prudence and Phillipa are very Kourtney and Khloe cos they’re besties, and Pen is a very successful business woman," Coughlan explained to a fan who asked if she was "Khloe Featherington." "Also I remember Kim being like a very good detective too so there’s that…"
"And Mama Featherington is def a Kris [Jenner]... obsessed with her kids success and tends to play favorites Face with tears of joy," one fan replied.
"I think Kim needs to be a visiting Featherington cousin in Season 2...just saying," another suggested.
"Kim Featherington does have a nice ring to it — I'll see what I can do!" Netflix told the SKIMS founder.
Bridgerton quickly became Netflix's "biggest show ever" after it premiered on Christmas Day and has since reportedly garnered 82 million viewers, according to Forbes. With the second season in production and two additional seasons confirmed, there's plenty of time for Kim to make a cameo.
