Kim Kardashian is giving her take on Kanye West's previous plea for his estranged wife to take him back.
Months after the pair's bombshell divorce filing earlier this year, the 44-year-old rapper claimed on a recent episode of the "Drink Champs" podcast that he still wanted to be married to the reality star.
At the time, the Yeezy designer claimed Kardashian was "still" his wife, claiming "I ain't see the papers. We're not even divorced," even though the beauty mogul filed for divorce back in February.
He insisted at the time that the former couple's four children — North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 2 — "want their parents to stay together. I want…us to be together," he said.
Now, the SKIMS founder is addressing her former hubby's comments, which appear to have taken her off guard.
"Kim knows Kanye is a good person and [she] respects him," a source revealed in an Us Weekly report. "She was surprised by his comments about wanting to get back together."
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum's response to West's plea comes after it was revealed that the reality star previously insisted in court docs that nothing could save their troubled marriage.

As OK! previously reported, new court documents showed that Kardashian claimed "no counseling or reconciliation effort," would be able to fix their broken relationship. "Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between [Kanye] and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down," the docs continued.
"I have been attempting to settle our dissolution with [Kanye] since I filed for divorce in February 2021," the TV personality wrote. "I have requested several times that [Kanye] agree to bifurcate and terminate our marital status. [He] has not responded to my request."
"[Kanye] and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted," she concluded.
While the mom-of-four tries to legally change her marital status, she is also trying to breakaway from her former spouse in her business ventures.
Earlier this week, OK! reported that Kardashian is planning on relaunching her KKW makeup brand without the "W" for West's name in the hopes of marking her "independence from him."
"She is grateful for everything he's done for her, but she wants to make it clear she can do this without him," a source previously revealed.
