Kim Kardashian is keeping her head up, despite the drama with her estranged husband, Kanye West.
Over the weekend, the 44-year-old dissed her beau, Pete Davidson, in his new song "Eazy" and alleged he wasn't invited to their daughter Chicago's birthday party.
In light of West's recent behavior, an insider told People the former flames, "have been in a better place," as, "It's all getting very complicated," between the two.
The source revealed the reality star is trying to ignore the drama and wants to shield their children from it. Meanwhile, West continues to make public declarations that are apparently untrue and worsening the situation altogether.
In a recent interview with Hollywood Unlocked, West — who changed his name to Ye — claimed he wasn't allowed inside Kardashian's home when Davidson was there. An insider told People a lot of West's claims were "false," but he was "not allowed inside" her home that day. The source added that security "didn't stop him from seeing the kids, picking them up or dropping them off."

The source explained Ye cannot walk into his estranged wife's home without permission and noted Kardashian is entitled to privacy and boundaries. It became "necessary" to implement boundaries following "several incidents" where the "All Of The Lights" hitmaker is said to have upset Kardashian's family, friends and staff with his "recent unannounced visits," explained the insider.
While the SKIMS founder has been trying to keep the peace, OK! learned she's "upset" West keeps airing out their private family matters on social media. (West took to Instagram Live over the weekend and claimed Travis Scott was the one who gave him the address to his daughter's birthday bash.)
Kardashian filed for divorce from the father of her children in February. Most recently, she filed to be declared legally single, despite the "Donda" singer's public pleas for reconciliation.
While Ye has been linked to Julia Fox, an insider spilled he's been using other women as a distraction and believes Kardashian is his soulmate.
