Kobe Bryant's Daughter Natalia Is Heading To University Of Southern California — See Proud Mom Vanessa's Post
Let’s rally the Trojans! Kobe Bryant’s eldest daughter is heading to the University Of Southern California.
"I got in!" Natalia, 18 — sporting head-to-toe USC gear — yells in the clip her excited mother, Vanessa Bryant, posted to Instagram on Tuesday, March 30.
“Tears of joy. I’m SO happy for you Nani! I know daddy is so PROUD OF YOU. I am so PROUD OF YOU!! Your hard work and dedication was so worth it,” Vanessa captioned the video. “You pushed through the most excruciating pain imaginable, and you succeeded. I wish Daddy and Gigi were physically here to celebrate but I know they’re here in spirit. We love you so much! #USC #Trojan #FightOn“
Knowing this was her daughter’s top school choice, Vanessa was anticipating this very moment. The excited mom had balloons in USC’s colors, school apparel and custom Nike shoes in the university’s colors and Kobe’s signature. “I had these shoes made for @nataliabryant in hopes she’d get into her top school,” Vanessa, 38, wrote.

Vanessa also joked what she would have done with the decorations if the outcome was different. "If you wouldn’t have been accepted I would’ve had to have stabbed these balloons in the guest room and have thrown all this away. 😩😩Thank goodness you got in 😃❤️🤞🏽," she wrote.
Vanessa posted that Natalia also got into NYU, University of Oregon, The University of California, Irvine and Loyola Marymount University. However, it is clear that USC is Natalia’s final decision. “See You Soon @uscedu !❤️💛” Natalia captioned a photo on her 'gram. “Fight On✌🏽.”
Vanessa and Kobe met when they were in their teens and wed in 2001. They shared daughters Natalia, Gianna (“Gigi”), Bianka and Capri.
Shortly after the death of both Kobe and 13-year-old daughter Gianna, the hashtag #GirlDad began to trend, honoring Kobe’s love for his four daughters as other fathers shared pictures with their daughters. As OK! reported, Kobe and Gianna were killed in a tragic helicopter accident, likely caused by the pilot’s “spatial disorientation," taking their lives as well as seven others.
