Lamar Odom Calls Tristan Thompson 'Corny' For Hurting Khloé Kardashian In Messy Paternity Scandal, Insists Reality Star Will 'Be Alright'

Lamar Odom is giving his take on the drama between Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian.
Odom — who was previously married to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star — was approached by reporters on Wednesday, January 12, requesting his thoughts on Thompson's recent paternity scandal.
As OK! previously reported, the Sacramento Kings player was exposed for fathering a child with a woman named Maralee Nichols while he was allegedly still dating Kardashian. Nichols gave birth to the newborn baby back in December, and Thompson has since apologized to the reality star for the pain he has caused her.
When asked about the situation, Odom explained he hasn't had the opportunity to talk to his ex-wife about the drama, but he knows she is going to be just fine.
"She gonna be alright," the former athlete said in the clip from TMZ. "She's a strong girl."
But when asked specifically about Thompson, Odom couldn't help but give his honest opinion on the matter, saying, "Dude is corny for that," referring to the serial cheater's latest scandal. "But it's all good."

Odom also mentioned what words of advice he would give Kardashian if he had the opportunity, saying, "First I would give her a hug, I haven't seen her in a long time." (The former Lakers player married the blonde beauty back in 2009 before the pair officially divorced in 2016.)
He told the cameras he would encourage the Good American cofounder to "just to be strong," and "keep her faith in God."
Odom added that he would tell her to "be strong for her daughter."
Kardashian welcomed her 3-year-old daughter, True, with Thompson back in 2018, just days after finding out about the NBA star's first public cheating incident. Since then, she and Thompson dated on-and-off and continued to peacefully co-parent their daughter together.
Even after their tumultuous relationship, the TV personality still has no intention of banishing Thompson from her family, despite the poor choices he's made.
An insider recently dished that Kardashian is "taking the high road," in the situation and "really wants Tristan to be a good father to True," as OK! previously learned. "Khloé is not going to fight with Tristan or block him from the family."
