The Girls alum owns one other property in Los Angeles, which she purchased for $865,000 in 2019, and a second home in Brooklyn, NY, which she bought for $4,887,600 in 2014.
In an essay for Domino magazine's Fall 2019 cover story, the New York native opened up about her struggle in finding the right place to settle down after she and long-time partner, Bleachers singer Jack Antonoff, called it off in 2017 following their almost six-year romance.
After their split, the musician stayed in their Manhattan rental and Dunham impulsively purchased a new place in Brooklyn, a decision she quickly regretted.
"I made a massive real-estate mistake, the kind that nightmares are made of," the 34-year-old wrote. "I bought something in a state of panic, feeling like if I didn't put down roots soon I'd float away."
Dunham never ended up moving into the space and sold it for a loss. While she may have been upset with her 2017 real estate purchase, the television star struck gold with her three-bedroom, three-bath West Hollywood abode.
