Continuing with the pandemic baby boom, the German model made the unexpected announcement on Instagram, with the help of Vogue Germany, and revealed she was already more than half way along.
“I’ve been keeping this secret for.. pretty much 6 months exactly. FINALLY I can share my biggest news with you all. Let the journey begin @voguegermany," the mom-to-be captioned a stylized video, featuring sweet shots of her growing baby bump.
The new bundle of joy will be the 28-year-old and her husband Alex Pettyfer's first child.
During the video announcement, Garrn is heard gushing about her pregnancy, admitting that her life has been changed forever.
"What was my first reaction when I found out? I think my first thought was "finally,'" she said. "I was very excited. The best thing about being pregnant is definitely waking up every day and knowing I'm pregnant. It's such a happy feeling. I touch my belly and I'm just super excited to have my little one inside me."
"I think my life already changed but it's a good year for me to have a baby because everything else already slowed down so much," she continued. "My brain has the patience and the time to be very fulfilled and present to be a parent. Which I would love to be."
'I dream of the way his or her face is going to look, the way it's going to be and smell. I just can't wait to meet my baby!'
The 30-year-old father-to-be reposted the heartwarming video on his own Instagram page with the simple caption, "DADDY."
The Vogue cover girl and the Magic Mike actor tied the knot in her hometown of Hamburg last October, ten months after their Christmas engagement in 2019.
Garrn famously dated Leonardo DiCaprio for 18 months between May 2013 and December 2014. The two sparked reconciliation rumors in 2017 when they were spotted out together on several occasions, although they never officially got back together.
