Mandy Moore is now a mom in real life!
The This Is Us star announced the arrival of her baby boy with husband Taylor Goldsmith via Instagram on Tuesday, February 23.
“Gus is here,” gushing mom wrote. "Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined. M + T."
Accompanying the news was a sweet snap of baby Gus in a pale blue zip-up onesie.
The 36-year-old singer/actress and the Dawes frontman announced on social media they were expecting their first child together back in September.
"Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021," Moore captioned a sweet black-and-white pic of couple, which showed the-dad-to-be lovingly cradling his wife's growing baby bump.
The actress, who plays matriarch Rebecca Pearson on the NBC hit series, previously talked about how her Emmy-nominated role impacted her feelings on becoming a mom herself.
"I feel a kinship with her," Moore told E! News of her character back in 2017. "I was most concerned about feeling maternal, not having children myself. But being part of a project like this definitely makes my ovaries start kicking."
The "Candy" singer and Goldsmith wed in 2018 after two years of dating and more than a year of being engaged. She was previously married to musician Ryan Adams from 2008-2015. The former couple later released a joint statement explaining their decision to divorce, calling it a "respectful, amicable parting of ways," but in 2019, Moore came forward with claims her ex husband was emotionally abusive.
