We have a hatchling! Pregnant Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell had a gender reveal for her family at the Australia Zoo, where the couple announced they are expecting a little girl.

“Baby girl, you are our world. ❤️,” the mama-to-be captioned an adorable photo on Instagram on Tuesday, September 22. “Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can’t wait for her arrival next year.”

Powell, 23, couldn’t help but gush over the exciting news. “I love you and our daughter more than anything,” he wrote in the comments section.

For his part, Powell also captioned the same snap on social media. “Our little girl and my beautiful wife are my entire world,” he wrote. “I’m so excited to meet our daughter when she’s born next year and to see the incredible person she will grow up to be❤️.”

Irwin commented on her husband’s post, writing, “Here’s to the greatest new life chapter. Baby girl and I love you beyond description. 💕”

In their matching social media posts, the adorable couple knelt beside a giant tortoise with pink flowers in its mouth and pink flowers all around their feet.

The expecting parents tied the knot in March at the Australia Zoo and announced they were expecting baby No. 1 five months later.

Irwin is the daughter of the late TV wildlife expert, Steve Irwin. The 22-year-old zoologist took to Instagram in early August to share a picture of herself and her husband holding a tiny Australia Zoo T-shirt to announce the news.

“Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honor to share this special moment in our lives with you,” she captioned the photo.

We can’t wait to meet Irwin and Powell’s tot!
