Maralee Nichols Hits Back At Fake Accounts After Slamming Tristan Thompson Over Paternity Test Result Statement

Maralee Nichols is calling out the fakers.
The 31-year-old — who recently made headlines as Tristan Thompson's newest baby mama — took matters into her own hands to shut down fake social media accounts using her name.
On Tuesday, January 4, the new mama posted screenshots of two different accounts, which both listed her name in their profiles, to let her followers know that neither of the accounts were actually affiliated with her.
One of the accounts claimed to be Nichols' cousin, which she quickly shut down, claiming: "THIS IS NOT MY COUSIN OR ANYONE I KNOW." She also insisted her current account was her only one and asked her followers to report the others.
Nichols' posts come just hours after she released a statement slamming her baby daddy for his comments about the recent paternity result that proved he's the father of her newborn son. OK! reported the NBA athlete previously insisted in court documents on getting a paternity test to prove he was the father.
"There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichols' baby," Nichols' publicist stated on Tuesday. "Tristan made numerous false statements and declarations about Maralee over the past few months, and she is taking his contrite statement today in the context of all of those statements."

As OK! previously reported, the Sacramento Kings player publicly addressed the paternity scandal for the first time on Monday, January 3, where he confirmed he is the father of Nichols' son, Theo Thompson.
"Today, paternity results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions," he wrote via Instagram on Monday night. "Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately."
The basketball star also included a public apology to ex-girlfriend and baby mama Khloé Kardashian, who he was still dating when he hooked up with Nichols during his birthday earlier this year. The reality star shares 3-year-old daughter True with Thompson, whom she called it quits with over the summer.
"Khloé you don't deserve this," he acknowledged in his statement. "You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years."
