Tristan Thompson is in how water with his latest baby mama.
After the NBA player issued a statement responding to the DNA test result proving he's the father of Maralee Nichols' 1-month-old baby boy, the new mama shared her reaction.
"There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby," her publicist told Page Six on Tuesday, January 4, noting that Thompson's previous claims targeted at Nichols wouldn't be forgotten. "Tristan made numerous false and defamatory statements and declarations about Maralee over the past few months, and she is taking his contrite statement today in the context of all of those statements."
Given that Thompson allegedly asked Nichols to get an abortion, accused her of having an STD and using the scandal to "gain" fame, threatened her over child support in court documents, insisted he didn't want to be in the baby's life if he was proven to be the dad and allegedly hid the extent of their intimate relationship, it's clear why Nichols would be less than likely to buy into Thompson's seemingly remorseful statement.
As OK! reported, Thompson confirmed he was the father of Nichols' son, Angelou Kash Thompson — who was born December 3 — on social media.
"Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son," the father-of-three shared on his Instagram Story on Monday, January 3. "I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately."
Thompson also took the time to apologize to ex Khloé Kardashian, who the womanizer was apparently still dating when he hooked up with Nichols in March during his 30th birthday celebrations.
"Khloé, you don't deserve this," he candidly admitted. "You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have cause you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years."
"I truly wish nothing but the best for her and I’m hoping we can reconnect and talk one day as friends," the former NBA pro commented on a Facebook post about Thompson's paternity test results. "she is a good person and deserves the world."
Kardashian and Thompson broke up over the summer after getting back together one year prior following his past cheating scandal.
