Maralee Nichols Claims Tristan Thompson 'Has Done Nothing To Support Their Son,' NBA Star Hasn't Even Met Newborn Baby

Maralee Nichols is calling out Tristan Thompson for being an absentee parent to their newborn son.
Nichols — who made headlines after giving birth to the pair's son in December 2021 — is now claiming the NBA player has made zero effort to support the infant, despite his previous statement declaring he would help raise Theo Thompson.
"Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son," Nichols' representative, Harvey Englander, told Page Six. "He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance."
Thompson, 30, is already a father to 3-year-old daughter True Thompson, whom he shares with ex Khloé Kardashian. He also has a 5-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.
As OK! reported, the basketball star was slammed with a paternity suit last year following claims that he hooked up with Nichols while celebrating his 30th birthday last March. He was believed to still be dating Kardashian at the time.
Thompson later revealed the DNA test results confirmed he fathered the 2-month-old and insisted he planned on "amicably raising" his son with Nichols.

"Today, paternity tests reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son," he wrote in a January statement. "I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately."
He also issued a direct apology to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, who he has been caught cheating on multiple times in the past, including one instance just days before the reality star gave birth to their daughter.
"Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you," he knowingly admitted. "You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
The Good American cofounder, 37, has not directly commented on her ex's scandal, but insiders revealed she's been working on herself and focusing on raising her daughter.
Meanwhile, Nichols appears to be getting on just fine with her new little one, who she dubbed as her Valentine earlier this week. On Monday, February 14, the mom-of-one shared a photo of the infant wearing a onesie that read "Mommy's valentine" followed by another post of the pair snuggled up together.
