Mariah Carey 'Supportive' Of Ex-Husband Nick Cannon Planning To Welcome 8th Child With New Baby Mama: Source
A supportive ex!
Nick Cannon confirmed the expected arrival of his eighth child with a new woman earlier this week, leaving many to wonder how his fellow baby mamas feel about the news, especially ex-wife Mariah Carey.
Days after the TV personality shared that he and model Bre Tiesi were expecting their first child together, a baby boy, during the Monday, January 31, episode of The Nick Cannon Show, an insider claimed Carey is happy for him.
"Mariah and Nick are really great coparents and have a good relationship [and] friendship now so any time Nick has exciting news to share, she’s just happy for him," a source told UsWeekly. "They’re in a good place and they’re supportive of each other no matter what."
The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" songstress, 52, and Cannon, 41, were married from 2008 to 2016 and share 10-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. After the former flames parted ways, the Wild "N Out host welcomed four-year-old son Golden and one-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell.

The Masked Singer star also shares seven-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa. In addition, Cannon welcomed his seventh son, Zen, with Alyssa Scott in June 2021; however, he sadly passed away in November at five-months-old after battling brain cancer.
While Carey and Cannon are no longer together, the insider told the outlet the "Touch My Body” musician ensures her kids have a good relationship with their father.
"As long as Roc and Roe are still very much a part of Nick’s life, which they are, and he gives them equal attention, that’s what she solely cares about," the insider reportedly maintained, insisting that Cannon's eldest twins "hold a special place" in his heart.
"They spend a lot of time with Nick and he seems to balance time well with all the children," spilled the source. "It’s a lot to juggle and he has a lot on his plate, but at the end of the day, family comes first."
Cannon and the soon-to-be mama, 30, found out they were expecting before Zen passed away but wanted to keep the news private to respect Scott's grieving process.
Despite suffering such a heartbreaking loss, Cannon told his viewers on the Monday episode that he's "excited" and "happy" to be "the best dad I can possibly be," concluding: “When a life comes into this world, it’s a celebration.”
