'Married At First Sight' Star Matthew Gwynne Arrested, Charged With Felony Vandalism After Altercation With Ex: Report
Married at First Sight star Matthew Gwynne was reportedly arrested after an alleged incident with his ex-girlfriend over the weekend.
The 34-year-old was nabbed by authorities in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday, October 31, and charged with felony vandalism after breaking into his ex’s home.
He was released on $2,500 bond the following day, reported Page Six. The MAFS veteran has not entered a plea and is scheduled to appear in court on December 20.
The unidentified victim — who admitted she had dated the former pro basketball player off and on — told officers the two got into an altercation at a house party the night before.
She claimed she demanded he leave the bash after their dispute, but to go to his own home. Later in the evening, she received an alert from her home security system that someone had attempted to break in.
After the woman arrived home, she noticed her “door had been broken into” and it had “significant damage.” She allegedly has security footage that shows Gwynne entering her residence at 11:32 p.m. on Friday evening.

Viewers were introduced to Gwynne during season nine of the hit Lifetime series, which aired in 2019. He wed Amber Bowles, but shortly after the two connected, she suspected her new hubby was cheating on her after he was staying out late and not coming home until the wee hours of the morning.
The brunette beauty chose to end their relationship during decision day. Late last year, she announced that after much delay, their divorce was finalized.
“So 2020 was ROUGH,” she captioned a statement via Instagram on December 31, 2020. “But I also had some amazing things happen like getting my freedom back (finally got my divorce), starting the process of building my dream house, spending all of the cuddle time with Lenny [my dog] since I got to work from home, and I just have so much gratitude for the lessons 2020 taught me. #ThankGod #itsoverlol #wemadeitthough #Lenny.”
