Bennifer 2.0 has Matt Damon's blessing!
While on the Today show on Tuesday, May 11, Damon said while he was not revealing any information regarding Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reportedly rekindling their love, he said he hoped the rumors were true because it "would be awesome."
"There's not enough liquor in the world for you to get me to say something about that," the Good Will Hunting star initially told Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
"I love them both," Damon said.
Several fans seemed to agree with Damon.

"Me too Matt. I hope Jen and Ben the best," another user tweeted.
"I hope it's true! Ben's smile was real when he was with Jennifer, it reached his eyes," a third said.
OK! was the first to report that Lopez and her ex-fiancé have been privately communicating since her split from Alex Rodriguez last month.
However, sources told TMZ that the pair were in "regular contact by email" while the "Hit The Floor" singer was in the Dominican Republic filming Shotgun Wedding where Affleck wrote to Lopez "tell her how beautiful she looked" after seeing pictures of her and how he "wished he could be down there with her."
Since then, the pair escaped for a brief vacation to Montana. "[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town," a source told PEOPLE, and said they "have a strong connection. It's all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy." They were spotted arriving back in L.A. on Saturday, May 8, in a private jet.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez is said to be "saddened" by the apparent Bennifer reunion.
"A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on," a source told E! News. "He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him."
The 45-year-old even reportedly reached out to Lopez to let her know he was upset but she is "not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done."
Lopez and Affleck began dating in 2002 and got engaged the same year after they met while filming Gigli before they split in 2004 after they called off their wedding the year before.
Lopez and Rodriguez got together in 2017 and Rodriguez popped the question in 2019 but they postponed their wedding twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Damon's own love life ran into a rough patch but according to an OK! insider since relocating to Australia to film Thor: Love and Thunder. "Matt has been arranging date nights, showering her [wife Luciana Barroso] with presents and even hired a top chef to cook all their meals."
"He knows he started to get complacent and neglected Luciana, but he's promised her not to let things get so bad again. He's determined to put the spark back in their marriage and it seems to be working!" the insider added.
