Palace aides were reportedly 'worried' about what Meghan Markle would do if they went public with allegations against her.

"They’d left the employ of the royal family, and they still were in a psychologically delicate state as a result of what happened to them at that time,” Low said during an appearance on the "Unfiltered" podcast in July 2025.

Low claimed several royal staffers came forward to tell their story for his book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, which was released in 2022.

He said the "broken" staff members became "very fragile" and "were worried about what Meghan would do to them" if she knew they exposed her.
