Megyn Kelly Blasted Melissa Gilbert

Megyn Kelly spoke about Melissa Gilbert's recent comments about protecting young women in Hollywood.
As OK! previously reported, Busfield, 69, was indicted by a Bernalillo County grand jury on four counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor in February.
The allegations stem from incidents reported by two young brothers on a TV set in Albuquerque, N.M. The actor is accused of using his position as director to groom and touch them inappropriately between 2022 and 2023.
The Little Big League star has denied the allegations, with his trial scheduled for next May.
Melissa Gilbert Spoke Out About Protecting Women

Melissa Gilbert married Timothy Busfield in April 2013.
Gilbert, 62, made headlines on Monday, August 24, when she spoke out about protecting young women in the wake of the death of Hayden Panettiere.
In an essay titled "Enough Is Enough," shared on Substack, she spoke about three former female child actors of the same generation dying "agonizingly too soon."
"Within one year, Michelle Trachtenberg, Daveigh Chase and Hayden Panettiere have died," she wrote. “They are gone and the question I have been turning over and over in my head is, ‘WHY?’ Why are these three sweet, wildly talented, vibrant, vital young women gone?"

'Something Is Very, Very Wrong'

Melissa Gilbert addressed the deaths of Hayden Panettiere, Michelle Trachtenberg and Daveigh Chase.
Trachtenberg died at 39 in February 2025 following complications of diabetes mellitus, while Chase passed away on June 16 from AIDS at 36 years old.
Though the Little House on the Prairie star "did not know Hayden personally and only worked briefly with Mishy and Daveigh," it still "felt personal" to her "because I was them."
"When three of us die so close together, something is very, very wrong," she said before calling out Hollywood directly, explaining that people "know the stories of how the entertainment industry uses, abuses, exploits and then throws away its youngest."
'Please Sit This One Out'

Megyn Kelly claimed Melissa Gilbert was 'cloaking' herself as someone who 'stands up for children.'
Kelly blasted Gilbert's comments, claiming she doesn't "give a s--- about anything involving" Busfield.
"[She] tried to cloak herself in Glory as somebody who stands up for children under threat in Hollywood. Now she's doing it again," the journalist told her audience. "Now she wants to be the one to step in and say, 'I will lead it. I will lead the turnaround in Hollywood as we now protect young women in Hollywood.' Please sit this one out."
