Miles Teller Test Positive For COVID-19 Shutting Down Production On 'Godfather' Series 'The Offer', Actor Reportedly Refused To Get Vaccine
Actor Miles Teller has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
The 34-year-old actor found out about his diagnosis on the set of The Godfather prequel series The Offer — temporarily halting production on the Paramount Plus series starring Giovanni Ribisi, Colin Hanks and Dan Fogler.
An insider close to production spilled that the Divergent star refused to get the coronavirus vaccine or a prior test before he tested positive on set.
“Miles Teller is not vaccinated. He wouldn't even get the test,” a source dished to DailyMail, adding: “Now he's brought the virus to the set and the whole set had to shut down.”
Production on the limited series was shut down last week. “Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily halted production on The Offer due to the return of a positive coronavirus test result during routine testing,” a spokesperson told Deadline on Sunday, August 29.
“We will continue to follow all safety protocols and monitor the situation closely,” the statement continued.

The Whiplash star replaced controversial actor Armie Hammer as producer Albert S. Ruddy in the short-run series about the making of The Godfather. Teller will also act as an executive producer for the series, which details Ruddy’s experience producing the iconic film in 1972.
Adding fuel to the fire that Teller is at home quarantining instead of filming, the hunky actor posted a photo of himself in bed with his pup via Twitter on Thursday, September 2.
Teller recently celebrated two years of marital bliss with wife Keleigh Sperry Teller. Earlier this week the couple — who tied the knot in 2019 — gushed over each other in heartwarming social media tributes.
“2 years ago today, I married the woman of my dreams. There isn’t a day that goes by where I’m not reminded of how much I truly love and adore you,” the War Dogs alum captioned a black-and-white snap of the couple from their wedding day in a tweet on Wednesday, September 1. “Thank you for your kindness and unconditional support, Keleigh. I would be lost without you..”
Teller’s 28-year-old wife shared a sweet message via her Instagram on the same day. “Happy anniversary my booshki, not sure how to put 8 years into 10 photos but I love you forever more thanks for being a stud of a husband, I adore you 🐻❤️🐻🥂✨🌍🥀,” she captioned a series of snaps of the duo.
The lovebirds were first linked in 2013, became engaged in 2017 and wed in September 2019.
