Miranda Lambert is ready to be a mom!
According to Us Weekly, the country superstar, 38, and her husband-of-three-years Brendan McLoughlin, 30, have been trying for their own bundle of joy and are ready to be parents.
Lambert and the former NYPD officer have "recently started trying to get pregnant,” a source told the outlet. “She and Brendan decided after their third wedding anniversary, they would start trying."
"Miranda is thrilled and Brendan has always wanted to [have kids with her]," the insider revealed about the couple — who met in November 2018 while Lambert was appearing on Good Morning America.
McLoughlin has a three-year-old son Landon with ex Kaihla Rettinger — who gave birth to their little boy mere days after her baby daddy met the CMA winner. Lambert revealed that she loves her role as step mother telling Extra in 2019: “I’m loving that whole phase. And I’ve raised a million dogs, so I feel like I’ve got that part of my womanly/motherly thing full, so this is a whole new journey. It’s great.”

The insider noted that the musician has been “telling friends that she wants a baby and to be with Brendan forever," adding that “Brendan wants to expand their family.”
The pair celebrated their three-year anniversary in January with the "Mama’s Broken Heart" singer posting a sweet message to her man on Instagram.
“Spent a few days in the sun with my sunshine. ☀️❤️ #3years💍,” Lambert wrote alongside a sweet photo of the two at the beach while she gives McLoughlin a big smooch.
Lambert was previously married to fellow country star Blake Shelton from 2011 to 2015 — but at the time, The Voice coach, 45, had told the outlet that the former couple were not ready to have kids. “I think I’ve got a lot of growing up to do before I start raising kids,” Shelton told the outlet before the divorce. “And she says the same thing.”
