Nicki Minaj posted via Instagram on Friday, July 30, that she was replacing Andy Cohen as host of the season six reunion of Real Housewives of Potomac — and apparently the mega-producer is game for it.
“I’ll be hosting the reunion. 🥳,” the 38-year-old rapper captioned a teaser for the smash hit reality series. “lmk what y’all want me to ask chile🥴.” Cohen commented on the post, saying, “I want to see this!”
Cast members from RHOP also shared their excitement over Minaj possibly hosting the reunion special. Gizelle Bryant wrote, “Yesssssss!!!!!,” while Wendy Osefo commented: “Yessssss Queen.”
The “Bang Bang” songstress later posted via Instagram Story, adding fuel to the fire that she could be hosting the special, saying, “Don’t move! Everyone binge watch all the episodes cuz we finna get into some thangz hunty: My question will be well thought out, too. Mixed with funny & epic, of course.”
Cohen shared the same post via his Story, adding, “Nicki is not playing.” Minaj later posted another Instagram Story of text messages between her and someone named “Joe Publicist” on her phone. “Andy Cohen said he would gladly give up his seat to have you host the Potomac reunion. Tapes around October,” he wrote to her.
The Grammy-winner excitedly replied back with a bunch of capitalized letters. “Would be a really fu**ing funny moment,” Joe Publicist shot back, adding: “I like this idea.”
“YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS,” she responded. “I WANT TO DO IT.” They mystery person on the other end of the phone left us hanging with, "Ok, getting details."
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
