Paris Jackson joined a Utah treatment facility to heal herself, but ended up with even more PTSD than before.

Sharing her experience on the latest episode of "On Purpose with Jay Shetty," she said, "I can’t trust anybody here because anything you say could put you on the lowest level, and you can’t really call your family and tell them because they’re listening."

"They will call your family and be like, ‘Don’t listen to her. She’s lying to you.’ And then you get a consequence... and you’re on meds, and you’re zombie-d out, and it’s rough," she continued.

Paris Jackson said she was sent to the facility after her suicide attempt at 15.

While her tenure there was nothing short of traumatic, Jackson claimed she was "one of the lucky ones" at the facility who didn't experience "physical or sexual abuse."

She did, however, experience other forms of abuse.

"There was definitely a lot of psychological, emotional, spiritual abuse that happened there. Like pitting the clients against each other," she continued, explaining that she felt she couldn't trust even her roommate or therapist.

She concluded, "You have to learn how to kind of play the game if you want to get out."

She also got candid about spending time at a therapeutic school in Utah back then.

Saying "it was great for me," the then-teenager Jackson told the outlet, "I’m a completely different person."

"I was crazy. I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like, teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help," she added.
