Breakup Gone Bad! Did Quavo Repossess Bentley He Gifted Saweetie For Christmas?
Shortly after the pair confirmed their new relationship statuses on social media, there was speculation that the car was taken back once their two-year relationship came to an end. The former couple famously got together when Quavo, who was born Quavious Keyate Marshall, slid into Saweetie's DMs in March 2018 and said "u so icy Ima glacier boy."
"Quavo's no dummy — the Bentley wasn't in her name," a source told MTO News following reports that Quavo took the car back in the early hours of the morning. "He's not being petty or anything, but she's on Twitter talking sh*t. So he took back the car," the pal told the outlet.
The car was said to be leased in Quavo’s name, and he had an agreement with the dealership where he could pay a fee to end the lease early so the dealership could take back the car and end the contract. However, there is no evidence of the car being repossessed. Neither Saweetie or Quavo mentioned the car on social media.
"New toy imma call her ✨❄️ BIG B ❄️✨ thank u baby @quavohuncho," Saweetie gushed in December. She posted a series of photos in which she lounged inside and outside the icy blue Bentley, which donned a large red bow for the holidays. Fans have since commented on the old post about her ex reportedly taking the car back.
"Lol @quavohuncho took yo car," one user wrote.
"Didn’t age well," another added.
"Ain’t you gonna archive the post?" a third user asked.
As recently as Friday, March 19, the 27-year-old, who was born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, tweeted, "I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women."

"I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation," the "Tap In" hitmaker added.
In response, her now-ex said, "I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives."
"I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best," Quavo continued, but did not address the cheating allegations. "Take Care," Saweetie added.
TMZ was the first to report that the Bentley was not repossessed.
