Queen Elizabeth II Has 'Mild Cold-Like Symptoms' After Testing Positive For Coronavirus As Rumors Swirl Prince Andrew Has Been Visiting Daily
Queen Elizabeth II officially has COVID-19.
"Buckingham Palace confirm that The Queen has today tested positive for Covid," a statement from the palace read on Sunday, February 20. "Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week."
The statement added, "She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines."
Her Majesty is reported to be fully vaccinated, and is only one of several of her household and members of her royal staff who have unfortunately tested positive with breakthrough cases in recent weeks.
This comes shortly after the Queen had resumed her royal duties following a scare in which her son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles both found out that they were positive for the virus only a few days after having a visit with her.

Clarence House announced the news that Charles needed to cancel scheduled events in order to isolate on February 10 via social media. "The Prince of Wales has tested positive and is now self-isolating," the tweet read. "HRH is deeply disappointed to not be able to attend today's events in Winchester and will look to reschedule his visit as soon as possible."
Fortunately, the Queen had been in good spirits and feeling well enough to carry on as there had been no news on whether or not she had had the virus herself until Sunday morning.
However, the Queen soon may not be the only royal to test positive alongside Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. As OK! previously reported, rumors have swirled that Prince Andrew has been making nightly visits to his mother at Windsor Castle for the past week amid his agreement to settle in the case lodged against him by Virginia Giuffre.
"He knows he is meant to be keeping his head down and it’s a short trip, but he is extremely contrite and apologized to the Queen for all the trouble he has caused her," the source continued. "He realizes how serious this whole issue has been and the damage it has done to the monarchy."
