RHOBH's Erika Jayne Spills Real Reason She Ended 'Sh**ty' Marriage To Tom Girardi, Says She 'Couldn't Live That Way Anymore'
As Erika Jayne’s mounting legal troubles continue to dominate headlines and her messy divorce plays out on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the blonde bombshell revealed the real reason she split from estranged husband Tom Girardi.
As the ladies sat down to gab at Sutton Stracke’s Parisian-themed party on the latest episode of RHOBH, Jayne decided to clear the air and address “the elephant in the room,” referring to her calling it quits with her husband of two decades.
“My life drastically changed this week,” she began to tell castmates Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Stracke, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Kathy Hilton on the Wednesday, June 23, episode. “I let go of my Lamborghini, I let go of my 16,000-square-foot home, I let go of my marriage, I let go of everything,” she said. “I literally made a decision that I had to.”
The “Painkillr” songstress then explained what ultimately caused her to pull the plug on her crumbling marriage.
"I left because he pushed me further and further out," she spilled during an emotional confessional. "The conversations that I used to have were now reduced down to a sentence or two. I just kept walking around that house and knowing that this marriage was headed down a really sh**ty path, I had to make a choice to do what was right for me. I couldn't live that way anymore."

Jayne — who filed for divorce on Election Day 2020 — told her pals that she hid her marriage woes from them “on purpose” because it would have put them in a “bad position” with all the pending legal troubles.
"I didn't want to do that and that's the truth," she explained. "It also doesn't serve me to talk a lot about what is happening legally or will happen legally because I am married to somebody who's very good in that area," she continued, referring to Girardi’s years as a famed attorney.
Jayne then went on to detail that she fought to save her marriage, but ultimately her words fell on deaf ears. “I thought about this and tried and tried and tried to talk and tried to work it out and I was met with such resistance. I can’t do this by myself. I can’t convince someone of anything and so I said, ‘OK, well I have to take this step on my own.’”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
