'He Put A Ring On It': Ricki Lake Flaunts Massive Rock From Fiancé Ross Burningham
Former talk show host Ricki Lake is officially off the market! The 52-year-old TV icon revealed her fiancé, Ross Burningham, “put a ring on it” nearly three months after he popped the question.
“#Engaged to my magnificent king,” Lake captioned a selfie with her beau as she flaunted her massive rock. “I am officially the happiest woman in the land. My dear Ross, I choose you today and everyday! ✨✨✨♥️ #love #openheart #hope #happilyeverafter.”
The adorable duo — who got engaged in February — appeared to be in a jewelry store in the snap. The pair grinned ear-to-ear as Lake flashed her sparkly new accessory.
“Friends, I’m so so so excited to share some good news! I’m engaged! 💍♥️,” the actress wrote via Instagram on February 20, gushing about her new fiancé. “This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful.”
Lake continued: “I love him very much and I am so grateful I get to love and be loved so deeply by this stellar human. Our next chapter is sure to be a good one. #heartopen #lifeisbeautiful #ibelieveinlove #thisis52 #selflove.”
A few days after her big announcement, Lake appeared on Watch What Happens Live and spilled the tea on her new relationship and how their engagement came about.
“We’ve only actually known each other since the end of June,” the Hairspray star told host Andy Cohen on February 23. “So it’s just been about six months. He was a booty call for a few months there. He is wonderful. Everyone in my life who’s met him just gets it. We’re great together.”
The documentary filmmaker detailed her steamy proposal — and how it caught her off guard. “I was naked in the jacuzzi with my man on the first night that we were in my new Malibu home, and so it was romantic, it was very spontaneous and I couldn’t be happier,” Lake spilled at the time, adding there was “no ring yet.”
This won’t be Lake’s first trip down the aisle. She was previously married to Rob Sussman from 1994-2004 and Christian Evans from 2012-2015.
