Riverdale star KJ Apa and girlfriend Clara Berry are expecting their first child together.
The 23-year-old broke the news by sharing a hazy photo of the couple sitting on a couch together where Berry had her shirt rolled up to reveal a baby bump, which may be why he didn't feel the need to add a caption.
The model confirmed the news when she shared a clearer picture of her baby bump on her own Instagram page.
"She's pregnant btw," Apa commented. "We are" Berry wrote back with a heart.
Fans and friends took to the comments to congratulate the happy couple. "Rivers soon to be bestie ♥️," Apa's Riverdale costar Vanessa Morgan commented after she welcomed her son in January.
"💜💜💜," costar Drew Ray Tanner left, while Leslie Ann Bryant wrote: "Congrats mate. Best journey to be on. ❤️."
Apa confirmed his and Berry's romance in February 2020 when he shared a photo of them kissing with the caption, "Coup de foudre," which means "love at first sight."
The two were reportedly seen flirting back and forth in December 2019 before they went official. Since then, they have not been holding back their affection for each other on social media.
"U know she’s alright when all the pups can’t get enough too," he captioned the picture of the French model with his dogs in January.
A month later, the 27-year-old dubbed Apa her "best friend."
Now, Berry is reportedly staying with her man in Vancouver while he films season five of Riverdale.
Apa was previously linked to A Dog's Purpose costar Britt Robertson in summer 2019 after they were spotted holding hands and "leaning in and kissing each other" at an Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con party in San Diego, Calif., Us Weekly reported. A month later he was also reportedly seen with Paris Hilton, who was "super flirty with him."
The bun in the oven will be both Apa and Berry's first child. They did not share when they are expecting the new arrival, but in the meantime, we'll be celebrating with a shake over at Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe.
