Steve passed away at the age off 44 in September 2006. The TV personality lost his life while working on Ocean's Deadliest after he was attacked by a stingray.
Bindi welcomed her daughter, Grace Warrior, earlier this year with her husband, Chandler Powell.
Powell paid homage to his late father-in-law. He shared a photo of the zookeeper holding a snake on Instagram.
"Happy #SteveIrwinDay 2021," the father-of-one wrote. "What I admire most about Steve is his love for all living things. His enthusiasm for how beautiful our world is will always be something we should take inspiration from. Put on your khakis & take a minute to remember the greatest Wildlife Warrior."
